Parent App Troubleshooting

Use this checklist before contacting support.

Sign-In or Password Reset Problems​

  • Verify email/password.
  • Check internet connection stability.
  • Use Forgot password flow (email -> code -> new password).
  • If login loops, sign out and sign in again.

Pairing Code Not Working​

  • Confirm the child enters the current 6-digit code.
  • If countdown expired, tap Get new code.
  • Keep both devices online during pairing.
  • Retry from Device management -> child profile -> Pair device.

Child Shows Not Paired / Controls Are Locked​

  • In Device management, verify profile status is paired.
  • Pair again if it still shows Not Paired.
  • Dashboard controls (remote tools, location, time controls) stay locked for unpaired profiles.

Limits, Web Filter, or Monitoring Changes Not Visible Yet​

  • Pull to refresh or re-open related screen.
  • For Web Filter, already-open child web tabs may take a few minutes to reflect new blocking rules.
  • Confirm you edited the correct active child profile.

Location Not Updating​

  • Confirm child device has required location permissions enabled.
  • Check child internet and OS location services.
  • Switch date in Location tab to ensure you are viewing the expected day.

Remote Camera/Mirroring Stuck on Waiting​

  • Confirm child device is online and paired.
  • Retry from Dashboard remote action buttons.
  • Exit and reopen the remote session screen.
  • Wait briefly, then open View Gallery and refresh.
  • Confirm screenshot was requested for the currently selected child profile.
  • Check notifications for screenshot-ready events.

Missing Notifications​

  • Ensure notification permission is allowed in Android settings.
  • Disable battery restrictions for Parent App.
  • Verify both parent and child devices are online.

When to Contact Support​

Contact support when:

  • pairing never validates after repeated attempts
  • SOS/critical alerts do not arrive despite notification permission
  • profiles/settings repeatedly revert after successful save

Include device model, OS version, and screenshots.
