Manage Child Profiles

Use this flow to create child profiles, pair devices, and manage profile details.

Create a Child Profile and Pairing Code

1. Open Dashboard and tap Add new child profile. You can also go to Menu -> Device management -> Add new device.
2. Fill in profile details:
   • gender
   • avatar
   • profile name (required)
   • age
3. Continue to generate a 6-digit pairing code.
4. On the child phone, install Fami Hero Kids and enter the code.

Pairing Code Behavior

• The pairing code has a countdown timer.
• If it expires, tap Get new code.
• When the child app validates the code, Parent App automatically moves to the setup guide step.

Pair an Existing Unpaired Profile

1. Open Menu -> Device management.
2. Select a child profile marked Not Paired.
3. Tap Pair device to open code pairing for that profile.

Edit, Unpair, or Delete a Profile

From Device management -> child profile:

• Update profile name, age, gender, and avatar.
• If currently paired, you can Unpair device.
• If not paired, you can Pair device or Delete profile.

Set the Active Child Profile

In Device management, tap a profile row to make it active. The active child is used by Dashboard, Screen Time, Location, and Menu controls.
