Location and Safe Zones

The Location tab combines map tracking, visit history, and safe-zone management.

Location Timeline and Map​

In Location tab you can:

  • view the child route/map for the selected date
  • move between days (previous/next)
  • expand or collapse the visit-history bottom sheet (Show more / Show less)

If opened from an SOS alert, the map can focus directly on SOS coordinates.

Open Safe Zones​

Tap the Safe Zone button in the Location header. A badge shows how many zones are currently configured.

Create a Safe Zone​

  1. Open Safe Zone list and tap Add new safe zone.
  2. Pick the location from map center.
  3. Enter zone name.
  4. Set radius. Current parent app range is 200m to 2000m.
  5. Save.

Edit, Toggle, and Delete Safe Zones​

From Safe Zone list you can:

  • enable/disable each zone with a toggle
  • open a zone to edit name, center, and radius
  • delete a zone from the edit screen

Reliable location depends on child-device permissions and connectivity. See Child App Permissions when location data is missing.
