Child App Troubleshooting
Use this page when the Child App is not syncing or controls are not applying correctly.
Pairing Code Not Working
- Confirm the code has not expired.
- Enter the latest code exactly as shown.
- Restart both apps and generate a new code.
- Ensure date/time settings on both devices are correct.

Parent Rules Not Applying
- Confirm required permissions are enabled.
- Check the child device has internet access.
- Reopen Child App and wait for sync.
- Ask the parent to refresh from the Parent App.
Location or Monitoring Missing
- Recheck location and usage permissions.
- Disable battery optimization for the Child App.
- Keep background activity enabled.

SOS Not Sending
- Confirm location permission is enabled.
- Open the app and retry SOS from the Location tab.
- If using the home-screen SOS widget, verify network is available.
- Check that the child app is not force-stopped by battery management.

Remote Camera or Screen Request Not Working
- Ensure the child device is online.
- For camera requests, allow camera permission when prompted.
- For screen mirror/screenshot requests, approve the Android screen-capture prompt.
- Reopen the child app after denying by mistake, then retry from parent side.

App Crashes or Freezes
- Update the app to the latest available version.
- Restart the device.
- Check free storage space.
- Reinstall if issue persists.
