Request More Time

When an app is blocked by time limits, children can send a request to parents from Fami Hero Kids.

Send a Request (Child Device)

1. Open the blocked app and tap Ask for more time.
2. Tap Request More Time.
3. Enter a custom message or choose a suggested message.
4. Tap Send request now.

Current behavior in the Android child app:

• Request duration is sent as 30 minutes per request.
• You cannot submit an empty request message.

Parent Approval Flow

Parents receive a notification and can:

• Approve
• Deny
• Approve with a different duration

Changes usually sync within seconds when both devices are online.

Common Responses

• Success: request sent and parent is notified.
• Already pending: there is already an open request for that app.
• Failed: temporary sync/network issue.

If Request Is Not Delivered

• Confirm both devices have internet access.
• Check push notifications are enabled for the Parent App.
• Reopen both apps to refresh sync state.
