Remote Monitoring Requests
Parents can send remote monitoring requests to the child device. This page explains what appears on Android.
Remote Camera Request
When a parent requests camera access:
- Child sees a request dialog.
- Child can Accept or Deny.
- On first use, Android may also ask for camera permission.
If accepted, the child device starts camera streaming.
Screen Mirror Request
For screen mirroring:
- Android shows the system screen-capture permission prompt.
- Child must approve that system prompt to continue.
- The app may move to background automatically while capture starts.
Remote Screenshot Request
For one-time screenshot capture:
- Android shows the same system screen-capture prompt.
- Child can allow or deny.
- If allowed, a screenshot is captured and sent to parent-side session flow.
Safety Notes
- If denied, parent must send a new request to try again.
- During active screen mirror, Android shows a foreground capture notification.
