Child App Pairing

This guide explains how to pair your child's device with the Fami Hero system.

Prerequisites​

Before you begin, make sure:

  • You have completed the Parent App setup
  • Your child's device is connected to the internet
  • You have physical access to both your device and your child's device

Pairing Steps​

  1. Open the Fami Hero Parent App on your device
  2. Navigate to Devices in the main menu
  3. Tap Add New Device
  4. Select Child Device
  5. A pairing code will be generated on your screen

On the Child Device​

  1. Download the Fami Hero Child App from the app store
  2. Open the app and select Pair with Parent
  3. Enter the pairing code displayed on your parent device
  4. Wait for the confirmation message

Verification​

Once paired, you should see your child's device listed in the Parent App under Connected Devices. You can now:

  • Monitor device usage
  • Set screen time limits
  • Manage app access
  • Track location (if enabled)

Troubleshooting​

If pairing fails:

  • Ensure both devices are connected to the internet
  • Check that the pairing code hasn't expired (codes expire after 5 minutes)
  • Restart both apps and try again
  • Contact support if issues persist
